Wrinkles are a natural part of aging, but there are ways to lessen the chance of getting wrinkles early in life. Develop a skincare routine that includes washing your face and daily moisturizing. Avoid smoking and drink plenty of water; a healthy diet and proper hydration help prevent premature aging.
UV radiation damages your skin and can cause premature aging, so protect your skin by wearing sunscreen and avoiding tanning beds. Try to avoid spending extended time outside from mid-morning to early-evening, even on overcast days. When you are outside, avoid direct sunlight, and wear a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and clothes that cover your arms and legs to protect as much of your skin as possible.
It’s never too early to take preventative measures against premature aging and wrinkles!
